The Tennessee Association of Independent Colleges and Schools (TAICS) is a subsidiary of the Alliance for Career Education in the States (ACES). All institutions located in the state of Tennessee are encouraged to join in support of private career education and state-based advocacy.
TAICS will work to keep government officials in Tennessee abreast of the positive impact of proprietary schools in the state and will work with legislative leaders to facilitate in-person visits to their local schools.
TAICS members can receive special pricing on Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) courses offered through MaxKnowledge. The CHEP certification courses help career education institutions to enhance employee credentials and performance resulting in increased institutional effectiveness and student outcomes. Additionally, nationally certified faculty and staff set participating institutions apart in the career education sector.
TAICS members have priority access to all TAICS events including professional development offerings, webinars and special events hosted in their areas.
