The Alabama Association of Career Colleges (AACC) is a subsidiary of the Alliance for Career Education in the States (ACES). Our mission is simple: to support institutions that are preparing Alabama's workforce, elevate the value of career-focused education, and advocate for policies that strengthen access, affordability, and student success.
AACC provides Alabama's schools with a unified platform for collaboration, communication, and state-based advocacy. Through this partnership, institutions gain access to legislative updates, policy resources, professional development, and a community of leaders committed to advancing high-quality postsecondary career education.
All Alabama institutions are encouraged to join AACC to help build a stronger, more coordinated voice for students, educators, and employers across the state. Membership ensures your institution has a seat at the table as we work together to champion the essential role that career education plays in Alabama's economy.

AACC members can receive special pricing on Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) courses offered through MaxKnowledge. The CHEP certification courses help career education institutions to enhance employee credentials and performance resulting in increased institutional effectiveness and student outcomes. Additionally, nationally certified faculty and staff set participating institutions apart in the career education sector.
AACC members have priority access to all events including professional development offerings, webinars and special events hosted in their areas.
Webinars can be accessed here.

AACC members receive timely updates and regular communications covering all the political, business, and higher education news impacting Alabama schools.
The advocacy work of AACC is tailored to the needs of schools in Alabama. All AACC members will receive regular communications related to legislative, regulatory, and political activities important to the sector in the state capital.
AACC members can participate in complimentary professional development offerings throughout the year.
All career colleges within the state are encouraged to join.
Membership dues: $300 per campus
In times when the political climate is particularly threatening, AACC will facilitate a sector-led advocacy campaign to directly engage state legislators and regulators on key topics impacting schools and students.

The ACES webinar series is available as a complimentary benefit to all ACES partners including members of the Alabama Association of Career Colleges.
The webinars have been developed for the advancement of professional development offerings in the states though the ACES partnership.
