About the Georgia Alliance for Career Education

The Georgia Alliance for Career Education (GACE) is a subsidiary of the Alliance for Career Education in the States (ACES). All institutions located in the state of Georgia are encouraged to join in support of private career education and state-based advocacy.

Online Training Center

GACE members can receive special pricing on Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) courses offered through MaxKnowledge. The CHEP certification courses help career education institutions to enhance employee credentials and performance resulting in increased institutional effectiveness and student outcomes. Additionally, nationally certified faculty and staff set participating institutions apart in the career education sector.

Events and Webinars

GACE members have priority access to all events including professional development offerings, webinars and special events hosted in their areas.

He spent time connecting with our members and immediately acknowledged the role career

colleges play in the higher education space. Chairman Martin was encouraged by our alliance's presence at the Capitol, asked to be updated on alliance priorities and offered to engage further with our members on education policy.

The Georgia Alliance started the day visiting with Sen. Max Burns (R-Sylvania), Vice-Chair of Senate Higher Education Committee, former Congressman and college president.


Sen. Burns gave good feedback on the job markets career colleges could fill.

GACE members receive timely updates and regular communications covering all the political, business, and higher education news impacting Georgia schools. 


The advocacy work of GACE is tailored to the needs of schools in Georgia. All GACE members will receive regular communications related to legislative, regulatory, and political activities important to the sector in the state capital.


GACE members can join at the state capital for the annual Legislative Day as well as participate in complimentary  professional development offerings throughout the year.

Benefits of Membership

Membership dues are reflective primarily upon the level of direct advocacy and calculated based on gross tuition revenue of campuses located within the state.


In times when the political climate is particularly threatening, GACE  will facilitate a sector-led advocacy campaign to directly engage state legislators and regulators on key topics impacting schools and students.
